We had our own Thanksgiving dinner on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the U.S. There were many challenges in the process, but the finished product was worth the trouble. We had to venture into the American grocery store in the city in order to find canned pumpkin for the pumpkin pie as well as the dried onion rings for the green bean casserole. I think it was the first meal where Dawson really thought the food tasted like home. After our dinner we opened a few presents that Mom had sent for us to open on Thanksgiving.

You look great! K looks like an angel in the photo where she is smelling the candle.
I'm fascinated to know the differences you've found between Aussie and American foods.
